About a month ago we attended Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle. While I had tickets for 3 days, Quince and Richard joined for only Saturday. It’s a day he still talks about excitedly.
The past summer, Quince came up to me one afternoon carrying a dvd. “I want to watch this with Daddy” he said showing me the dvd. It was Ghostbusters. Originally released in 1984, this movie is now a classic.

Every 6 months or so I post a list of Quince’s favorite items. Well, it’s that time of year! Again these were answered by him. It’s fun to go through them with him and hear what he has to say. Age 5.5 Music: Star Wars Imperial March by John Williams, ghostbusters theme song, Food: chocolate, …
The past two weeks we have gone out hiking with two friends. It’s been a great way to see our parks and be outside.
I can’t say enough awesome things about Reading Rainbow. This school year he would watch or read books via their app rarely. Then summer hit and he’s asking to read books or watch the videos all the time now.
Here are Quince’s words about our recent trip to Victoria, BC to visit his Grandpa. I did only minor edits to help his sentences flow. Enjoy!
This spring has been full of new experiences. Quince has grown so much this spring, with our second year of pre-school drawing to a close and kindergarten waits on the other side.
