Halloween is coming

This time last year we were living life large on the streets of Hong Kong. Looking back on that and out the window now, I would say that was a great idea, it actually is a dark and stormy night, while we await what is hailed as being one of the “worst storm this year” to unleash its wrath upon us.

While Q sleeps soundly, and unknowing of the weather craze happening around town, he is quite knowing of how Richard is not here. We talked to him tonight- or this morning, depending on what side of the phone you were on. He’s been a little out of character as the week has progressed. I’m sure this is not aided by my being sick with a nasty stomach bug.

We have been sending Richard a bunch of random photos of what we are doing. It’s not nearly as exciting as touring Hong Kong but it helps.

What has also not been forgotten about is Halloween. Quince is so excited to have the pumpkins out. We spent Richard’s last weekend home getting out what decorations we had because he ran over to Steve & Nikki’s and saw them setting up Halloween decor. It was like a wonderland for him. Upon returning home he insisted we put stuff out.

This year for the holiday he has decided to be a Ghostbuster. Funny since the new female-cast movie was released earlier this year. Until a couple weeks ago, Quince knew nothing of it. Him and Richard watched the original together over the summer. Totally hooked! Richard and I will be ghosts along side him.
