I can’t say enough awesome things about Reading Rainbow. This school year he would watch or read books via their app rarely. Then summer hit and he’s asking to read books or watch the videos all the time now.
This spring has been full of new experiences. Quince has grown so much this spring, with our second year of pre-school drawing to a close and kindergarten waits on the other side.
Every six months we post a list of Quince’s favorite books, things to do, foods, and toys. For the first time I asked him rather than filling it out myself. His answers were brief, yet interesting.
Quince spent Valentine’s with his Auntie Leaha and cousin Aaron for the 2nd year in a row.
Since New Year’s our days have been fairly busy.
It’s that time of year, where I list the current favorites Quince has. In some part, they have changed. I enjoy reading back and seeing how much he’s changed.
Who would have thought Quince would be a bowling natural at age 4, however he somehow managed the highest score of all the other kids. And I’m pretty sure it was better than I could do.
All last week Richard would arrive home from work and Quince would say “Daddy, we don’t have a Christmas tree at our house yet.” There was a short of disappointed aire to his voice as well. We got our tree on Monday night. Tuesday or Wednesday morning Quince ran into our room, said good morning …
