Unlike high school graduations, this was heavy on the cute and very short.
Our evening opened with a potluck dinner. Truthfully, I think it was mostly adults who ate. All the kids were too excited with being at school after hours- the idea of holding still to eat more than 3 bites was a difficult one to grasp. Kudos to everyone for the awesome dishes.
Quince and his classmates entered into the play yard in a line, each one that is moving on to kindergarten next year wore a mortar board with their name on it. Those not moving on had the honor of giving a flower to those that are. They then got to run through a rainbow archway held up by parents, friends and classmates.
Well wishes to all the kids moving on. I can say without a doubt, all the kids staying will have a wonderful year next year!
For whatever reason I completely missed getting a picture of Quince with Wendy. Sorry!
