It was a dark and stormy night. We arrived Friday in the early evening, about dinner time. The weather was light wind and rain. That all changed Saturday. It rained off and on most of the day, the wind kicked in in the afternoon. While trying to cook dinner I had to move the camp stove and have Richard use our outdoor blanket as a tarp. Thanks alite designs meadow mat for being multipurpose!
Quince mentally prepared himself for this trip by talking about the sand castles he was going to build. Rain and wind did not stop, or slow him down in the least.
